Lafayette is three years old and weighs around 50 pounds. He is so smart and knows the sit and down commands when offered a treat for motivation. He enjoys long walks, which are a great way to channel his energy.  Lafayette is housebroken, too. He loves to play ball, and is one of our stars! Lafayette has fun on car rides and is very relaxed. He adores people of all ages, and is very good with children. Lafayette will need a home without cats. He is good with other dogs, given proper introduction and supervision. Lafayette would be a great running or hiking buddy, and is an excellent choice for an active family.

Lafayette went on a hike with Tails of the Trail group, and his walker reported: “Lafayette has been told about a million times that he the sweetest dog in the world. He did so well walking in his harness, and I wish he could get my car and go right on home with me. The the person or family that scoops Lafayette up will be lucky for sure. If you are looking for the planet's sweetest pup, then you have to meet Lafayette!”

Lafayette also represented WCAC at a visit to a nearby assisted living center. He was good in the car, great with all types of people, and very friendly.

Lafayette  participated in the annual Leiper's Fork Christmas parade and was one of the stars! This special dog really gets around - and we hope his next destination will be with a forever family!
